Touchpoint Solution

The floor loaded ocean containers (500 per year) from the East are delivered to Touchpoint’s distributing center where the containers are unloaded and the product is palletized, stretch wrapped and counted. When all is done, a receipt is confirmed with client.

While the product is in storage, the client can keep track of their inventory status over the Internet. The entire inventory is cycle counted every 90 days.

Other specific activities that take place while product is being stored includes: outbound order requests being received via EDI flat files, orders will be picked, packed and shipped the same day, routing details will be created and recorded, ASN’s will be sent to retailers as orders are shipped, orders that require assembly will be assembled as needed, and the product will be shrink-wrapped as needed.

Product assembly includes many different tasks and levels of assembly. Touchpoint Logistics will assemble the displays, load the product into the displays and package the display which will then be suitable for shipment.

If returns are. expected, Touchpoint will receive the returned product. The good product will be distinguished from the damaged products. After separation, the return will be reported to the client. Non-sellable product is recycled and made into product that is able to be sold.
